This Week’s Calendar

Fri. 30th July - St. Peter Chrysologus.

Sat. 31st July - St. Ignatius of Loyola.

Reflection

When bruised or crushed by coarse or thoughtless people, or by life's hard knocks, our response should show what we are made of - or rather made in: the image and likeness of  God.

The prophet Daniel puts it simply:  to the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness (Dan9:9).  The more forgiveness becomes   second nature to us, the more God’s nature shines through.
